2f chalet was loud & noisy no doubt, but FUN.
(Concrete prove: We got complained by our neighbours so many times that we received a final warning from the guard, keep quiet or GET OUT.)
There were so many of us squeezing in the Costa Sands Pasir Ris chalet but surprisingly there was still space for us to play twister and bridge. The chalet went on the typical fashion, with a few guys hogging the TV with the Xbox, the rest of us playing cards, mahjong or word-games. (Yes, word-games. Even though that may not be what ppl normally do at chalets, but with the boisterous 2f crowd, even the harmless word-games could churn out tons of screams & laughter.) Those hungry during the night fought over cup noodles. (I discovered that Tom Yum flavour tasted the best.)
We had our bbq the following night. Our PSL Sidney was invited. We started the fire only at 8plus, by that time everyone was super hungry. Luckily we bought chicken rice de rice, at least got some staple food to fill our stomach. We had quite a few things for our bbq. (Guo Xiang even roasted 2 fishes as well) The hot favourite was cheesy hotdogs, prepared by Eunice and Wen Yi. The satay was good as well. Andrew came up with a new way of eating marshmallows, deep it in honey b4 roasting it. It tasted not bad la, jus that we all might get diabetes aft eating it. (:
Aft the bbq, a few of us had to leave. On the way to the MRT, I accompanied Sam to the toilet. We had to run to catch up with the guys after that cos apparently they didn’t have enough patience to wait. Upon reaching the MRT, we realise that Joshua & Guo Xiang were missing! We thought they were behind us all the time. Luckily we found out that they went to buy smth.
It’s NOT FUNNY when 2 ppl suddenly go missing so close to midnight, so pls remb to inform your companions if you suddenly have the urge to buy something instead of just waling of like dat. It could really freak ppl out.
