hello ppl!

here's wishing all a happy piggy year!

It has sure been a busy week,
With all the tests, projects and all.

I did really badly for both my physics and math
But at least my bio did okay.
Even if some ppl did excel for all 3 tests
But let me tell you: MOST PPL CANT.
Oh well, since they HAVE to make it this way
there’s nothing I can do.

I really shld be studying for my Chem test,
But I’m currently slacking,
.taking time off to finish this blog entry
cos I really think that some happenings this week
are really worth blogging abt.

Tues ->
the love letters that the teachers of dunman high made of us
although our teachers may not be professionals
in this field, they tasted quite gd,
I really appreciate the love letters
Even though they may not be especially tasty
But the fact that they are hand-made by our teachers
Who burned their weekend baking at the hostel
and some even scaling their hands
jus imagine having to make love letters for the whole school.
Not an easy task.

Thus ->
We doing ‘wearable art’ for AEP
Pretty interesting I would say
We tried our hands at designing clothes (:
Really want to go for the art trip to Tokyo
But sadly, I don’t have the finances to.
Art camp on March seems interesting
We’ll paint walls and stuff
Beautify the sch ^_^

Fri ->
Watched ‘Forgotten Silver’ for LA
Felt really cheated aft tat.
I really believed it at first lor,
However I found a lot of loopholes aft tat.
The show was interesting.
I enjoyed it. (:

Sat ->
Went for Chingay training.
It was really boring
They wasted out time
with their poor organising skills
Shld have went for Guides training at HQ instead

Went to Guides HQ for training aft lunch
Had fun with Axemanship

Looking forward to CNY & Chingay & March hols
Meanwhile, I have to go back to studying chem..

OMG.
there's like a whole pile of tests lined up for us,
all the way from now till even aft CNY.
it's just like running a marathon,
a marathon of never-ending tests.
aft this run is over, will just start all over again,
with another round of tests.

i know that it's somehow for our own gd
i know that Year 4 is a crucial year
i know that it's to prepare us for the exams

BUT HOW CAN THEY DO THIS??
i mean, in case you havent notice, we're STUDENTS, not ROBOTS
we need time to rest,
we need breathing space,
we need time to do our own stuff.

the tests are making me really suffocated.
at the rate we're going on, with so many tests in so few weeks,
it's really going to stress me out.
i've spent one whole wk intensively studying bio.
aft bio test is over, i realise that i have to study Physics & Math
then Chem, HCL, Math.
then it's time for bio again.

see the pattern? it goes in complete circles.
there's never a full-stop or a break time

I REALLY CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE.
isn't the IP program suppose to free up more time from studying for exams
so that u'll have more time to learn things in depth and to pursue ur interests?
why cant all subjects be like geog,
where we spend a lot of time investigating an issue in depth, and having discussions?

i really cant take the stess anymore.
there'll come a day when all my brain cells'll use up
u guys are jus going to find me laying in bed - BRAIN-DEAD.
