i met LauLau at the sports meet!! ((:
I ate lunch with Lau Lau today!! *ultra big grin*
haha. it has been what, 2 or 3 years since we last saw each other lah!
think we very you yuan.
out of the thousands of ppl can see each other.
erm. actually it's i saw her de la.
It was our 4 schs combined sports meet.
my class was sitting in the front roll,
then i jus happen to see her walking off to do st john duty.
we had a nice chat during intermission.
i found out that she knew all the st john ppl in dhs!
haha.
kk, so much abt the sports meet.
we had this really bad view of the track la, can even see the finishing line at all.
but we had a gd view of the discuses throwers though.
it started to drizzle a bit,
our sec 1s were so kua zhang dat they all brought out their umbrellas!
it was like a colourful sea of umbrellas la:

those w/o umbrellas were us year 4s.
However in the end we all had ours up.
yup, think dunman was the sch tat looked the most cartoon with all the umbrellas.
CCHM didnt even need theirs cos they had the shelter.. ):
aft the slight drizzle, the sun was up again
it got so super sunny that the umbrellass were out again,
to block out the sun this time.
almost everyone got burnt la.
our class took lots of photos during intermission,
with the guys were fooling around as usual.
can u believe it, they actually brought pokemon and digimon to play lar!
think it must have been fun playing those stuff,
although u most likely wont realise tat their are 16 years old.
amazed that their digivise still got battery though. (:
this years sports meet seems really short.
they moved a lot of events to the heats instead.
our bus took us to boon lay, while CCHM bus took them to lakeside.
i was still waiting for the bus while LauLau was at lakeside alr la,
so she had to wait super long for me.
when we reached bugis our stomachs were alr growling
bugis was full of ppl, yoshi, moss was all filled.
we went across the street to BK, even though it was raining heavily.
but the strange thing was, the rain stopped jus when we sat down.
WEIRD.
we spent a long time chatting at BK,
catching up on the old times.
LauLau taught me how to fold my first star!

when we reach the bus stop and stayed there for 15 min,
we realised we forgot to buy this sweets in a metal portable container (like those u would put wine in) that LauLau wanted so we went back to get it
didnt realise tat cold storage sold jap stuff
didnt realise tat jap stuff were nice until LauLau intro them.
really shld go try next time. (:
realised we forgot to take photo together! argghh!
but there'll be a next time we see each other again, right?
sure hope it's not 2 years later!!

official 2-star kayaker! (:
7 km Kayaking expedition to Coney Island.
Sounds cool aye?
[Ignoring the fact that 2 boys just drowned there 2 days ago]
It’s actually part of the 2-star kayaking course i took with my fellow tong jie.
There were actually 15 of us la.
But then Nicole didn’t come cos she needs to focus on her Project Superstar.
[Nicole got into Top 50 leh! So cool right?
She really has a nice voice. We’ll support Nicole all the way!!]
So only left 10 of us plus the 4 ventures.
The journey was tiring.
We chose Coney aft checking the tides cos it was along the current.
However, it didn’t help that we were going along current.
Though it might seem less energy consuming, it’s really hard to keep the kayake going straight, therefore causing me to end up going zig zag and thus was super slow. As a result, i’m always right at the back with the ventures singing right behind me. But i’m not going to complain. It was lucky for them to be behind as stern ppl lor. If not i would have drifted faraway to goodness knows where.
How glad was i to see the island.
My arms were aching, i longed for lunch.
I was extremely tired when we reached Coney Island.
We had a really time there though.
[Minus the sting by the jellyfish]
We played with water, sand, explored marine creatures, took photos with instructor Louis’s phone, ate lunch, just about everything.
We could even see OBS from there!
We couldn’t really bear to leave when we ought to.
*[photos are courtesy of instructor Louis]

the 14 of us~
jellyfish! it stung me lor!

orchidees love kayaking!
No doubt i was still the slowest,
the return journey was easier.
At least i can manage to control my boat a little better,
With advice from instructor Alex, who was observing me all the while.
Aft clearing up, then came the time to distribute the certs.
[there was no theory test surprisingly]
I really thought i was going to fail.
I cant believe that i passed! Till now i still haven’t got over the surprise.
Louis’s really efficient.
He actually took down our e-mails, and said he’ll inform us of any kayaking news & send us the photos,
But i didn’t expect his mail to be already in my mail box when i went check it in the evening!
Really can see that he’s really passionate abt kayaking, and is really trying his best to spark tat interest in us too.
Louis, YOU ROCK.
Thank you for everything!
yay, i'm now an official 2-star kayaker! (:

i hate hypocrites.
OMG la.
i'm pissed.
How would u feel if u suddenly receive a msg late in the night, inform you that u're suppose to go for some sports hits recording the next day, when u actually have AEP lessons in the aftnoon?
That's when u know even know ANYTHING beforehand. I mean, you could at least have taken the trouble ask if we're free instead of jus plainly ASSUMING that everyone has nothing to do. Think a leave form is like some order so impt that we all have to skip lessons? why must u get the sec 4s out of class just to go for sum stupid recording thingy? cant u get sec 1s or smth? the sec 4s are busy ppl u know.
What's this mann, not sparing a thought for us at all, jus expecting us to go find a substitute. In case you haven’t notice, it’s in the middle of the night, and I still have homework to chiong and yet I got to end up spending 2 plus hours calling up the sec 4s to see if they are free to sub me. Getting someone is really not easy, not if it’s so last minute. Most ppl already have plans on their own. Not to mention that the sec 4s are really busy ppl with extra lessons and stuff.
Was lucky to find some juniors that were willing to sub. It’s to have such nice juniors. Looks like guides is not going to fall just yet. Keep holding on ppl! Continue our revolution against the dictatorship! May triumph goes to the true spirit of guiding!
Ended up sleeping at 3am in order to finish up homework. Resulting in having to bear with panda eyes that cant stay open thru out the whole of the next day.
THAT was what happened to me. You can just imagine how buay song I was the next morning. Not surprising, I found out that the person responsible for all the commotion is in fact U-KNOW-WHO. That very person, was the one who gave us lectures aft lectures on how we should manage time properly, and never to inform ppl of things only at the last minute. Come on la, you’re not practising what you preached! Finally showing your true colours?
What a HYPOCRITE.
