i feel much better aft sleeping for one whole day le! (:

woah it really felt terrible to be sick.
it's like i havent been sick for ultra long le,
maybe becos of my flu jab?
but then again, i felt better aft 2 days.
still not too bad ((:

was unwell from thus le,
didnt feel much better aft drinking 2 bottles of Nutri Tea :(
so couldnt go stayover at Nicole's house with the rest.

but i still went to sch on fri though.
cos aft preparing so long for it,
it's finally 5C12's big day to ROCK THE SCHOOL!

haha i think everyone looked super cool!

among all the DeathNote, Iron Ladies, Pirates OTC, Army Days, Dracula, Ah Long Ptd Ltd (with real parangs!),
we won 3rd place! (along with Alice in Wonderland)
Hairspray was 2nd, thought they looked really cute with their dresses ((:
erm 1st was Geisha,
though i really thought that Joker was better in terms of painted faces.
(here's a couple of Jokers to prove my case.)
but oh well, the judges decision is final i guess.
and, did i mention, miss leong was awarded one of the best dressed teachers!


think this year's teachers' day celebrations was better than the previous years,
not only was the dressing up but also the concert!
our teachers were super sporting during the charades!
i thought they were pretty cool. esp the transformers part ((:

it was a pity that i couldnt go for class outing aft tt.
was feeling like puking aft the bus ride >.< [in which almost our whole class zonk out] went home to sleep the rest of the day off. but no worries, i felt better after puking le ((: really proud of my class for being so enthu! that's wad i like about 5C12 (: i jus hope that, like jolai said in her email, we would be able to translate reflection into action soon! that would be the best teachers day present for our teachers (: going out to all the teachers who made a difference in my life,

i could only say tt jolai's email was expected.

like wad's said earlier,
it's really time for us to reflect on our behaviour and really and truly translate tt into action.
in other words, we really need to BUCK UP.

kind of surprised to realise tt ppl actually read my blog though.

i realised i sort of typed lots of unpleasant stuff.
sorry guys, it was all typed in anguish so i apologise if it sounded offensive or smth.

but then again, abt the the 'herd instinct':
dont u guys think we ought to pay more attention to our own actions cos it doesnt simply have a effect on ourselves but would lead to a reaction from others - which emplfied, may in turn lead to a negative empression of our attitude on the teachers?

so wad i'm saying is, our actions doesnt only have an impact on us alone but also hav externalities on those ard us, so always think twice b4 we do smth (:

ARRGH.

super stressed this week.
yeah i know i'm like one of the lucky ones that dont hav any tests this wk,
but for me,
it's more of an emotional truma? rollar coaster ride?
and let me tell u, it doesnt feel so good either.

which ever the case,
it's jus bad lah.
the promos drawing nearer,
the tension is driving everyone madd lah.
esp the teachers.

it's like,
3 scolding session in a row,
miss leong, mr tan, mr glibert lee.
ok, maybe mr lee's words during econs are meant to be motivating.
but it jus came at the wrong time, when we were still suffering from the aftermath of mr tan's SUPER LOUD scolding that took all of us by SHOCK.
he even went to the extent of asking us to write on a piece of paper the GP teacher we want for next year. cos he doesnt want to teach us anymore.
i dont know how to put it,
but it's jus tt it seems we're not even doing ourselves the favour of handing in work on time,
what more do we expect from him?
however, it's like, maybe he hasn't given up on us,
cos if he did that he likely wont hav to strain his voice so much by screaming at that volume.
i never knew mr tan could shout tt loud.
certainly dont wish to hear that ever again.

you would have to be there to know what i mean.
it was totally >.<
yeah. so it's like, this 'encouragement' sort of backfired when used at the wrong time.
mr lee's words most likely is the result of miss leong's sharing.
so, in other words, it boils down to the same problem. US.

i mean, for all these to happen, there shld be a root cause right?
and i think i know what's the root cause - US.
and our @#%^*&$ attitude towards studying.

it's not like we shld be a mugger class or smth.
it's just tt we shld be more serious in the way we treat our homework.
it's really time to take our own initiative to finish work on time without having teachers to keep chasing us for it.

also it's time to reflect on our attiude.
esp during lessons.
we are too self-centred.
i really think we ought to show the teachers' more respect lor.

it really is the mob instinct.
it's like, all it takes is for one person to say/do smth beyond the line and the rest would follow,
despite all that disturbing the rest and distracting the teacher.
i think it's seriously wrong lor.

then again, it's not like we havent been scolded b4.
scolded, SO WHAT.
the exact situtation occurs again in the next lesson.
no significant improvement. back to sq one.
that's the problem with the class lah.

SUPER CHILDISH.
jus like a child, completely self-centred.
do what makes u happy w/o sparing a thought for the rest.
only concerned with what's the moment's happiness and do things TOTALLY IGNORING the long term concequence.

like mr tan said, have more perspective.
spare a thought for others the next time u wish to say some out of line in class.

tt's cos they think we deserve another chance,
they still have faith in us.

haha it was quite an eye opener i think,
imagine all the guys going there 2 years later! ((:
and we saw MAYFONG! and Cheryl! ^__________^
haha the NUS High kids were there too! along with some ppl from YJC, yup.
and ohhh did i mention, they have cool food!

8 August - Cross Country @ Changi Beach
i reached the bus station and saw this LOOONG queue.
so i went back to Pasir Ris Mrt and guess who i found?
the 4e peeps!~
YAY i was super happy to see them lah! (:
and we're going to catch Batman aft tt cos i managed to persuade them to watch with me aft mass PE on Tue (:

but we were quite late lah,
libing called when we were on the bus.
then when we got off, i heard this familar voice saying: “快点！”
oppz, and guess wad, it was Miss Seow!
so we ran across the bridge, haha (:

i sat with Lyon, Dora & Keith.
let me tell u. the jazz version of our national day songs sound SUPER o.0
to make it worse, there was this invited emcee, Benjamin Heng or smth, to lead the community songs.
he wasn't really getting our attention though,
dora was more entertaining (:
and then there was the house committee, singing + beatboxing. haha (:

then things somehow got better when Stars from Beyond came.
they are this hiphop crew tt remixed national our national day songs and choreographed dances to go along with it.
think it was quite innovative and they were much better then Benjamin Heng for sure (:
i esp like their signature stars-from-beyond move! ((:

but aft their performance there was nothing much to entertain us.
maybe reason was it was our 1st time organising such events.
due to poor organisation there was jus a lack of entertainment.

so my PE partner and i entertained ourselves by going to cheer for our friends in the competitive race!
wah they ran super fast lah!
and so scary! - cos aft tt we heard a lot of a lot of not so good stuff happening. SIGHZ.
in a competitive race the thing shldnt be like, one lane lor.
sure got a lot of shoving ard de.
that wasnt all lor. the awarding of the medals were also problematic.
2 ppl of the same class cant both get medals? tt's ridiculous!
HAIIII - big sigh.

but we discovered tt a lot of ppl could run!
and our dearest guitar senior PinYen was the fastest runner in school!
GOOD JOB! ^____________^

ohh Lyon was super disappointed Mr Gi couldnt come to run.
if not i think he'll super fast too! (:

met up with LiBing, Suat, Joce & Elvina aft tt.
we spent a long time deciding where to go eat!
we were still discussing on the taxi lah!
haha but in the end we went to Changi Airport cos we thought tt the rest of the places will be full of people!

went to Popeye's to eat cos there isnt outlets anywhere else in Singapore.
there quite a lot of ppl so quite hard to find seats.
ohh and the teachers came! a whole tableful of them somemore!
and the NPCC squad! and some Year 5s! looks like changi airport is quite a popular destination aft all!
and yup it was nice!
but rather unhealthy too.
erm, think of KFC + Long John Silvers plus lots of spices and u'll get it (:

aft a super lengthy discussion,
we finally decided towatch Batman at Princess.
but we had to rush there though, to be able to make it.
we meet Xiaoyou there, cos she had class lunch @ changi and didnt know where was the princess. (:

and we made it!
Batman was a nice moive! and a long one too!
oh but then cos we were all super tired then keep dozing off and missing parts!
and only 3 of us caught the 3 sec of Edison Chen!
but i really think Joker's mind games are cool! ((:

everyone was SUPER HIGH after watching Batman tt we decided to sit down to analyse it!
haha then guess wad,
we spend close to 4 hours @ Bedok Macs jus talking!
and we didnt even buy anything lor!
we totally analyse the whole of batman from top to end and all of joker's mind games!
haha and we talked abt how every guy in 4e is weird.
and that Suat & Joce are weird too!
and lots of random stuff!

9 August - PW time >.<
had embRACE meeting in the morning,
then went to Bedok Macs - yes AGAIN, for PW.
wah can u believe it there were like super a lot of Year 5s down there lah!
at least got wad, 3 tableful? 0.o
we are totally MADD.
ended up sharing the electric plug ((:

ohh and agnes almost lost her phone!
super funnY!
but lucky for her honest ppl seating at our previous seat found it (:


13 August - flopped my hist test
i was super stressed up tt i decided to totally give up and give myself time to breathe.
need i say more?



15 August - TGIF!
i always loved fridays!
not only of the free periods but there's also guitar!
oh but this time wasnt tt good cos we had to present our chamber pieces,
in which, ERM, wasnt such a success.
but nevertheless we will try harder!
PPL! when are u guys free to practice?
we need to find a common slot! (:

went home with the guitar peeps,
there were surprisingly a large no. of ppl going home tgt this time!
except Molly who left 1st, those who usually pangseh us didnt this time round!
haha we sang 'Sing' to Mr Sng,
who kindly offered us a ride which we reluctantly rejected cos we had too many ppl!
and i was thinking if we took his car we'll likely stink it up or make so much noise tt his ear drums might break!

haha okok it was only the 3 of us making the most noise - namely Suat, xiaoyou & me!
