i thought vivant this year was a bit different, with the camp objectives and all, but nevertheless it was a good experience.
let's see.
at first i was rather reluctant to go for camp,
not because of anything but rather it would be taking up one whole week of my rapidly depleting time left to do homework.
but at the end of the day i'm glad i went,
mostly because it was a good chance for me to know my fellow highfivers better,
which i really need cause frankly it'll be harder for me to fit in if i keep missing highfive events.
this leads me to my next point, in which through the camp i realised some very important points i'll need to take note of.
firstly would be that i realised i dont really hit off nicely with a lot of people,
simply because not many are on the same frequency as me.
this makes it harder to make friends, so perhaps i should try adjusting my frequency a little and adapt myself more to the surrounding.
however at the same time,
it would mean i'll need to cherish my friends,
and to make extra effort to keep in touch with them as i few i'd rather have a few close friends than many not-close ones (:
secondly, i need to be consciencously aware of myself i think.
dont really want to give others a bad impression.
beef up on quantity and quality speech (:
to tie up the lose ends:
i really think the highfive are hilarious (and self-admitted bitchy)!
and the games were mostly fun (and disgusting)!
it was my 1st time sitting on a Maxis Cab!
the food was good (in comparsion with other camp food)! esp the day at Sentosa! (:
the loudging was GOOD! double-deck bed with aircon! (1st time i slept on the top deck)
subway&kfc breakfast was good!
so were all the junkfood & herbal tea + honey lemon!
i think late night debriefing sessions work.
well, that pretty much sums up the camp!. ((:
i dont think i'll have time to do a lot of highfive stuff in 2009,
so perhaps the next proj i can do will be vivant 09.
well, till then! ^____________^
